Implants

An implant restoration involves attaching an artificial tooth to an implant, anchored in the bone below the gum line. Initially, you will be referred to a Dental Specialist to have the anchor surgically placed in the jawbone.  Over several months the bone and gum will integrate around the implant. Once this occurs, you will return to our office where Dr. Motomura will insert a crown over the implant. The end result is a strong, secure tooth that is virtually indistinguishable from your natural tooth.
