Crowns
Crowns are used to rebuild broken or decayed teeth, to strengthen teeth, as well as to enhance the cosmetic appearance of teeth. Crowns can be made out of porcelain/ceramic, gold alloy, or a combination of both.
Crowns are a type of dental restoration which fully cover the portion of a tooth above the gum line. When the dental crown is bonded over the tooth, it becomes the tooth's new outer surface. This is why dental crowns are often referred to as "dental caps".
A crown restoration will take two appointments to complete.
